Lorrie S. Eaton, a Burke
native, graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of
Science in Business and Accountancy in December of 1982. She began
her career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells in Lenoir as a tax
specialist.
Lorrie has extensive experience in business and individual
taxation issues, specializing in closely held businesses and their
owners in the areas of succession, estate, and financial planning.
She also has worked with planning for executives of large public
companies as well as family groups whose goals included transfer of
family wealth at the most beneficial tax rates possible. |
Lorrie
is a member of the North Carolina
Association of Certified Public Accountants
and the Tax Division of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Lorrie and her husband Michael have
returned to the Hickory area to be near
family as they raise their son. |
While serving as a senior tax manager with Ernst and
Young in Winston-Salem, Lorrie served closely-held and publicly
traded companies in industries including textiles, furniture
manufacturing and retail, real estate, wholesale distributors and
high tech. She also managed the tax compliance department for the
Triad office, including hiring, training, and development of
professional staff and quality control of tax returns. |
